A Culinary Landmark Reimagined

Bearfoot Bistro, housed within our premises, is no stranger to culinary excellence, having consistently ranked on Canada’s 100 Best Restaurants list. This season, under the guidance of Culinary Director Dominic Fortin, Bearfoot Bistro transforms into a Québécois sugar shack, bringing the essence of the maple syrup tradition to Whistler.

Don’t know what a sugar shack is? It’s a rustic cabin nestled in maple groves where families and friends gather to celebrate spring and the maple sap harvest season. This is where maple syrup and maple products are made!

Dominic, a Quebec City native with a passion for storytelling through food, draws upon his rich culinary background to craft a menu that celebrates the sugaring season – a pivotal Canadian tradition.

Savour the Sweetness of Spring

The “Magic of Maple” is not just a meal; it’s an immersive experience that transports you to the heart of Quebec’s sugaring season. With Bearfoot Bistro adorned in white and red plaid, and the air filled with the sounds of Québécois music, you’ll feel as if you’ve stepped into a traditional cabane à sucre (sugar shack). The menu, starting at $49, served family-style, includes Dominic’s reinterpretation of classics like venison and beef tourtière with caribou jus, and an indulgent maple cone dessert that promises to be a highlight of the evening.
