September isn’t just about the start of autumn and back to school. In Whistler, it’s about beer! From September 11th to 16th, the village is taken over by all things craft beer. Breweries from all over the British Columbia come to showcase their finest ales, ciders, and beers, all while competing for a top spot. The festival isn’t limited to a competition. Axes And Ales
Head over to Forged Axe in Function Junction for some of axe throwing and then on to a tour of the local breweries. During this event, you will visit both Coast Mountain Brewery and Whistler Brewing Company as well as enjoy a BBQ and some live music.

Craft Cultures After Party
A festival just isn’t complete without an after-party. Celebrate all the IPA’s, Ales, and Stouts at the infamous Buffalo Bills. What’s more, this party also falls on a local industry night so expect for it to be busy and tons of fun!

Sip And Stretch
As if it wasn’t possible. Beer and yoga come together for a night of stretching and sipping. Cost is just $2 at the door, registration is required which includes a complimentary beer during your practice.

The Main Event
This year, 130 beers from over 65 breweries will be featured at the main event. Taste testing, music, and food trucks make it a jolly good time that is not to be missed. Purchase tokens from the beer fairies and then redeem them for samples of the brewers best products. A complimentary tasting cup is provided to all attendees. Make sure to buy your tickets ahead of time, this event is a popular one with both locals and tourists alike.
