Love is in the air! If you’re looking for the perfect place to celebrate with that special someone, there’s nothing more romantic than spending Valentine’s Day in Whistler. The magic of the twinkling lights on the Village Stroll, the beauty of everything wrapped in a white blanket of snow and the fresh mountain air, set the scene for ultimate romance.
Valentine’s Day is even extra special this year as it falls on the same weekend as the Family Day long weekend, meaning extended time to enjoy each other’s company.
With so much to see and do it’s easy to plan the perfect Valentine’s Day in Whistler. Here is just one example of how we would celebrate the day of love.
Rise and Shine
Whether you’re an early riser or are looking to enjoy a restful sleep in, breakfast in Whistler is easy to come by. Most restaurants that serve breakfast do so until the early afternoon.
For a romantic, French-inspired breakfast, head to Crepe Montagne on Main Street. Enjoy a delicious menu of sweet and savoury crepes, egg dishes and more. The quaint venue offers the sense of being in Paris, the original City of Love.
Just across the street is another one of our favourites, Elements. The menu offers mainly savoury dishes such as frittatas, eggs benedicts and breakfast hash but also offers sweet or savoury stuffed French toasts.
Those Who Adventure Together, Stay Together
From a peaceful snowshoe through the forests of Whistler Olympic Park to a hair-raising jump from the Whistler Bungee bridge, there is something for everyone to do in Whistler.

Romantic Relaxing
After a day well-spent enjoying the adventures that Whistler has to offer, recharge with a relaxing session at the Scandinave Spa. This beautiful venue set in the forest focuses on the benefits of traditional Scandinavian hydrotherapy. Spend as much time as you like cycling through the hot tubs, cold tubs, saunas, steam rooms and relaxation rooms.
Dinner for Two
Any tastebuds will be satisfied with over 100 restaurants to choose from in Whistler. For those looking for a truly romantic fine-dining experience, look no further than the Bearfoot Bistro located in the Listel Hotel.
