Ice Skating
Opening for the winter season on December 8th, the Whistler Olympic Plaza skating rink lets you skate against a beautiful mountain backdrop. Once you’ve spent enough time on the ice, warm-up with a hot chocolate from one of the surrounding establishments. Admission is free! Rental skates available for $6.
Dress Like Santa Day
On December 16th, dress like and receive a complimentary lift ticket for the day. Passes will be awarded to the first 100 people that arrive at the Garibaldi Lift Company dressed in Santa attire. The passes are handed out starting at 8 am so plan to be there with plenty of time to spare. Didn’t bring your Santa suit? Spend the day on the slopes enjoying all the red and white characters.
Family Après
Taking place at the Olympic Plaza, this free activity is fun for the whole family. Every Monday and Wednesday starting on December 17th from 3-6 pm, families can partake in various activities and entertainment.
Whistler Holiday Experience
The Whistler Holiday Experience offers a wide range of fun, indoor activities and entertainment for children and their parents during the holiday season. It’s free for all ages. Parents are welcome to enjoy the lounge and a complimentary hot cocoa while their kids play.
Fire And Ice Show
Every Sunday and occasional Wednesday starting December 23rd, come to watch local athletes in action. And by action, we mean jumping through a ring of fire. In addition, spectators can expect to see fire spinners, a DJ and fireworks. The Fire And Ice Show is free to all and takes place at Skier’s Plaza in Whistler Village.
