What could be a better way to celebrate your Canadian pride than being in the mountains? With so much to see and do, Canada Day in Whistler is truly special. Many activities take place all over the resort and all of them are family friendly. From music, to parades to outdoor adventures, we have gathered up the best ways around town to spend the holiday!
Vancouver Symphony Orchestra:
Take in spectacular mountain views and moving musical pieces with a concert by the student musicians on July 1st at the Round house. Also on July 1st and with a second show on July 2nd, the VSO will be playing a free concert in celebration of Canada’s birthday at the Whistler Olympic Plaza. Grab a blanket and a snack so you are prepared to lay under the stars!

Canada Day Parade:
Many local businesses will take part in the parade that encircles the Village stroll. Each business is responsible for its own float following the theme that is strong, proud and free. Be prepared for some creative and celebratory moments! Also, don’t be afraid to join in the fun by dressing up to match this year’s theme!

Canada Day Fire Works:
Canada Day, let alone summer, isn’t complete without fire works! Set across the dark sky, you will see the radiating lights and along with the crowd, celebrate this wonderful nation’s birthday!
