Fall is in the air and summer is on it’s way out. But before school is back in session and we see the last of the holidays, there is one last long weekend of the hot season. Labour Day long weekend runs from September 2nd until September 4th and it the perfect opportunity to enjoy those last few summer adventures in Whistler. What will you do with those extra weekend days on Labour Day long weekend?

Throughout the summer months, the Resort Municipality of Whistler offers free public transit on weekends. Labour Day marks the last day that this service is offered so make sure to enjoy it while you can!

Top Of The World

Mountain bike through the stunning Whistler alpine on the Top Of The World trail. This trail closes for the winter season on September 17th. Since users travel through a sensitive alpine habitat, this zone is limited to 150 riders per day and requires an additional pass to be purchased. Advanced purchase is strongly advised.

The North Face Valley To Peak Race

On September 3rd, done your runners and challenge yourself with at the 3rd annual The North Face Valley to Peak trail running race. Racers tackle a vertical climb of Whistler mountain and get explore the trail network at the same time. Celebrate your success afterwards with music and prizes at the the race at The North Face Store in the village.
