Winemaker Après Series
For those of you looking for a more sophisticated after skiing activity, experience the Winemaker Après Series. Kokanee Race Series
Want to try your hand at fun, recreational racing? Open to all ages and abilities, the Kokanee Race Series has various different events for you to compete in, whether you’re a skier, telemarker or snowboarder. The Giant Slalom is held on January 10th and the Super G event takes place on January 17th. More details of races and how to enter are available here.
Deep Winter Photo Challenge
Experience the beauty of the Coast Mountains this January with the Deep Winter Photo challenge. Professional ski and snowboard photographers have 72 hours to capture athletes in actions and edit their best shots into a 5 minute slide show. The event is held on January 11th at 7pm. Snowed In Comedy – Whistler with Arj Barker
Prepare for a laugh with the Snowed In comedy tour. Join 4 international comedians who bring the best of comedy to Whistler. The biggest tour of its kind in Canada, make sure you don’t miss this event. You can buy tickets for the show held at Garibaldi Lift Co here.
Whistler Pride and Ski Festival
Join us for one of the biggest LGBT ski events in the world. Celebrate diversity and pride with thousands of visitors from all around the world. The 8 day festival features over 60 events for you to enjoy whether you’re gay or straight. Don’t miss the Annual Pride Ski Parade. Starting at mid station on Whistler mountain, watch a sea of colours and pride flags descending on Whistler Village. You can experience guided ski and snowboard tours on the mountain with Après events at bars all over Whistler.
