1. Choose Your Venue

Whistler has a wide variety of après venues to choose from. Maybe you’re in the mood for a laid–back bar or a more lively club; no matter, you’ll be able to find something that suits your needs. Don’t be afraid to explore some of the smaller, local spots like the Fitzsimmons Pub or The Beacon Pub Whistler. They can often offer a unique atmosphere and great happy hour prices.

2. Dress the Part

Whistler is a ski town, so keep that in mind when you’re getting dressed for your après. Even if you don’t plan on skiing that day, you’ll still want to stay warm and comfortable. This might mean heading back to your hotel for a quick outfit and footwear change. 

3. Don’t Miss the Specials

Most of the après spots in Whistler offer special deals and happy hour prices. Keep an eye out for happy hour and ladies’ night specials, as these can often save you a few bucks as well as provide a unique experience. The Pique Newsmagazine and boards outside of establishments can be a good place to search out specials. 

4. Have Fun

Whistler is known for its vibrant après scene, so don’t forget to let loose and have a good time. Après isn’t just about drinking – it’s also a great opportunity to socialize and meet new people. Get out on the dance floor and enjoy the atmosphere – even in your ski boots!
