Everything You Need To Know About Escape Whistler

Whistler is home to adventures of all varieties. Some adrenaline pumping and others…mind twisting. Escape Whistler is one of the latter. Put yourself in the middle of a real-life gaming experience where groups of 2 to 6 people are placed inside a themed room. Here, participants must collaborate to solve puzzles, riddles, and clues within 45 minutes in order to “Escape”. Ready to take the challenge and try your hand or mind for that matter at escaping? Here is everything you need to know about Escape Whistler!

Booking your attempt at escaping is as easy as 1,2,3, just visit their website and choose an adventure. Currently, participants can choose from 4 themed rooms including: The Pirate Ship, Lost Tomb, Buried Cabin and Rabbit Hole. The Pirate Ship is best for beginners, the Lost Tomb and Buried Cabin for intermediates and the Rabbit Hole is considered advanced. The Lost Tomb is set to be closed soon and a new one will be created in its place. Additionally, all of the themes are for every age, family friendly and non-weather dependent, making it the perfect rainy day activity!

Arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled time to sign a waiver and receive a briefing on your chosen adventure. Pay very close attention to the briefing! Everything that is said can help you later on. After the briefing you will be given a stop watch to keep track of your time and a flashlight. From there, you open the door to your adventure and the clock starts!

The adventures are all determined by your interaction with the room. Be prepared for fun, creative, and interactive obstacles. If you can escape, it will depend on your groups ability to work together, think outside the box and solve the challenges before you. If you get stuck, there are a few life lines that can be taken to help the game play continue onwards.

Did we mention that you only have 45 minutes to attempt to escape? This is not long so don’t waste any time!

Did you make it out before the timer went off? If you did, you are part of a select group of people. For example, only 15% of participants escape the Lost Tomb with in the allotted time frame.

Escape Whistler is a fun and exciting activity for everyone. It is also part the Listel Hotel’s Escape package which includes access to your choice of escape room for two guests and accommodation for two in a Deluxe Room. Choose from this package or many others when you book your stay at the Listel Hotel Whistler!
